Launch Camp is Australia's cofounder matching and builder community. We run curated small-group in-person meetups and provide in-platform chat.
Is it free? Will it cost anything later?
Meetups and in-platform chat are free. We may add optional premium features in the future, but the core experience will stay free.
Do I need an idea to join?
No! A venture needs more than just an idea, which may be exactly what you can contribute.
Do I need to be technical?
No! You will be surprised how much the technical people need you.
Do I need startup experience?
No! That's part of why Launch Camp exists: to help anyone learn about startups firsthand from people building them.
Is my idea safe to share?
You never have to share more than you're comfortable with. That said, most founders find that the feedback they get far outweighs the risk of someone "taking" their idea. Ideas are common; execution is rare.
Which cities are meetups held in?
We're starting in Sydney and will expand to other Australian cities based on demand.
Where are meetups held?
Meetups are held at cafés, coworking spaces, offices, or parks, whatever suits the group.
